In Front of the TV… Always

I did a quick view of the most recent Heroes episode, that is “The Wall” Heroes Episode 18. I did a quick scene by scene account and pick some of the quotes from that episode. Everybody saw and watched it and so did I.. and here’s what I saw.

First scene opens with Peter and Sylar.. Last episode of Heroes, Art of Deception ended with Peter going over Sylar mind. He tried to persuade Sylar to go with her but he didn’t want to. Eventually Sylar allowed Peter to touch him to bring him back to the real world but Peter failed… “we’re trap here forever”

The scene then changed and we saw Claire and Samuel talking about Noah and the incident from the night before. Claire demanded to see her father and wants to leave.

Have you watched the last episode of Supernatural? This week’s episode is the 12th and the episode title is called “Meat Swap”. The episode opened with Sam barging in a bar ordering ‘alcohol’ and hooked up with some girl named Crystal.

“I want to have the sex with you”… Then we found out that some kid is inside Sam’s body.

Watched Heroes Episode 17 last Monday night? “The Art of Deception” is the episode title for Heroes S04E17 and that is definitely an appropriate episode title..

I love this episode way more than the last Heroes episode. Although there are not much thrilling scenes in this episode, Heroes ‘deception’ somehow unfolds more things that the viewer (at least for me) will be waiting for in future episodes.

It’s the first episode after the super action packed 4 episode season premier of 24! The latest episode, aired last Monday was hour 5 or episode 5, 8:00pm to 9:00pm.. and unlike the first 4 episodes, this one has no action scene for Jack Bauer, nope nothing, nada, zero, niltch.. well at least there’s still the yelling part of Bauer.

Have you notice agent Cole Ortiz on this episode? Oh yeah, there’s this one scene where he looks for Dayna, asks the geek guy where he is and looked confused with the answer, “She went home”… And after than, no more scene for Freddie.

Check out the screen cap, LOST photo still above, aint that Claire holding (and shooting someone?) a gun? Those folks at ABC doesn’t want to release new teaser clips or still photos of the show until the premier on February 2 but this one was taken from a series of shots from apparently the past episodes of LOST… or course, except this one..

Check out the official video promo from ABC where you can find the still shot of Claire holding the gun. This is pproximately 15 seconds into the 30-second spot.

After a long holiday hiatus of our favorite demon hunter, Supernatural Season 5 is back with fresh, new episodes! Supernatural S05E11 is called “Sam, Interrupted“.  Overall, this episode is ok, the same Winchester chemistry and that good ‘ol Dean humor that I personally missed… Of course, I am a big fan and every good thing that I say here is bias.

Anyway, the show started the first scene in a place called Glenwood Springs Psychiatric Hospital in Oklahoma

There’s this woman talking to a doctor about her not talking any of her medication. She doesn’t want to take meds before it maade her sleep and when she’s asleep, monster comes.

The dumb doctor didn’t listen and the ‘monster’ came that night… It appeared that she slit her wrist.

… and I thought that Heroes was back in its track when they aired Episode 15 – Close to You, the the episodes where Nathan died or the Brother’s Keepers episode. That episode brought back some important ingredients of the show’s success during the first two season. But last Monday’s episode almost made me yawn. Good thing there are entertaining commercial breaks.

Although there are scenes with (the all-new shinny) Sylar and Claire, the big part of the episode is about Samuel and Vanessa’s love story or lack thereof. The one exciting thing that happened in this episode is when Samuel got really mad when he was dumped by his long time love who did not return his affection. For a minute there, Samuel scared me and the thing that he did in the town? Horrific! Reminded of the the magnitude 7 earthquake not so long ago in Haiti.

Well, that’s it… The long awaited 4-hour season premier of 24, done. As usual, Jack Bauer never cease to entertain his viewers. From the first episode till the 4rth hour (at least before Russian gang was uncovered and the appearance of former FBI, Agent Walker) there was actions and suspense everywhere, which is the main ingredients of the FOX’s hit action TV series, 24.

First hour shows Jack Bauer with his grand daughter watching TV. Soon he’ll tell his (lovely) daughter Kim that he will come with them in L.A. This plan will soon put on hold when Victor Aruz, one of Jack’s former informant will ask for his help… he would probably feel ambivalent about it, but he’ll help him anyway – to prevent the assassination plot of President Omar Hassan.

And the Fringe marathon has begun.. Watched the first few episodes of Fringe season 1 last night with the wife and she liked it. She doesn’t usually like the shows that I watched (Dexter, she hates blood.. Chuck, bored in the spy game). WE both love True Blood though.

Anyway, the pilot episode is pretty neat with the decaying-while-alive scene, that’s the one that got our attention. That’s exactly what the pilot should do, grab the viewer’s interest so they will watch the next episode.

For the pilot episode of Fringe, we got introduced to the main characters of the show – Olivia Dunham, Peter Bishop and Dr. Walter Bishop. Among the three, I am only familiar with Joshua Jackson because I was a big fan of Dawson’s Creek.
