It’s the first episode after the super action packed 4 episode season premier of 24! The latest episode, aired last Monday was hour 5 or episode 5, 8:00pm to 9:00pm.. and unlike the first 4 episodes, this one has no action scene for Jack Bauer, nope nothing, nada, zero, niltch.. well at least there’s still the yelling part of Bauer.

Have you notice agent Cole Ortiz on this episode? Oh yeah, there’s this one scene where he looks for Dayna, asks the geek guy where he is and looked confused with the answer, “She went home”… And after than, no more scene for Freddie.

So, if there were no action scenes for both Jack Bauer and Cole Ortiz, what happened with the whole hour? Well, the story behind Dayna’s past is shedding some light. Apparently she’s an ex-convict, or she’s been in prison for accessory to murder with her bad a$s boyfriend.

Vlladimir, the Russian guy who Rene and Jack was suppose to go under debut in this episode. Looks like Rene and Vlladimir had some past story themselves.. Jack know it too, he knows that the FBI covered up the whole assignment when Rene left and Jack knew that Rene tried to kill herself at least once.we’ll watch out for it in the future episodes.

From the last episode, agent Ortiz was able to stop the assassination plot of President Hassan. We also found out that there is a weapon of mass destruction being sold (come on, you expected that, this is 24) and the President’s brother supposedly wire transferred the money.

The guy that selling Uranium also agreed with his other son, Joseph, to take his sick brother to some clinic and they must not be visible.

There’s the father and son moment.. ‘but alone like this, in a cold room behind the kitchen? He’s my brother Papa and he’s your son.’ He brought his brother to a doctor… that’s another story to watch out for in the next episode.

Also, the ending for this episode is not that great. No suspense, no cliffhangers nothing whatsoever. Rene was welcomed back by Vlladimir after some rigorous tests (and killing the other guy, the one Rene cuts the thumb)… It would have been a better ending if they cut the scene wherein Rene was asking for it.. you know like ‘pull the trigger!’.. but that didn’t happen.
