A lot has happen in Dexter in the span of 4 seasons. I am probably one of the newest fan of Showtime hit TV series, Dexter.. based on Jeff Lindsay novel, Darkly Dreaming Dexter which won the 2005 Dilys Award.
I did the Dexter marathon in the last couple of weeks from season 1 to season 4 and I must say that the show good. I always believed that the heart of a good TV series can be found in the outcome or fan and critic review of the first season, and speaking as a fan, I thought that the first season is quite good… just like the first season of Heroes.
It was said that the first season was based on the novel but the subsequent series was an original story and concept of the producers of the TV series… although i have not read a single book.
Dexter and Miguel go through a new phase in their bond, which is not an easy thing for Dexter, since it heavily breaks his father’s code. This is the case with the ex-football player that is buried in debt. He kills whenever he need to pay someone out. This is what Dexter and Miguel confirmed at the football player’s hourse.
Rita is having mood swings due to pregnancy. Deb confronts Quinn and his shady past. Some new information about the “Skinner” comes to surface.
I finished watching Dexter Season 2 the other night. That was the fastest marathon I ever did to date on a TV series. It only took a 1 day to watch the whole 12 episodes season 2 of Dexter!
The whole of season 2 is all about Dexter. Of course it’s all about Dexter, he’s the title role, you might say. But I mean, if season 1 was all about the Ice Truck Killer, that is, Dexter’s blood brother, season 2 is about the Bay Harbor Butcher, who is… Dexter.
Yep, some treasure hunter found Dexter ‘graveyard’ and that’s when the investigation on the Bay Harbor Butcher came to be. Season 2 introduces a new character, Lila, who eventually became Dexter’s lover as he and Rita broke up. He met Lila in a Narcotics Anonymous meeting because he told Rita that he is ‘addicted in something’ or ‘having an addiction’.

I just finished watching season 1 of Showtime’s Dexter. I like the idea and concept of Dexter that’s why I decided to catch up and watch all previous season. Looking forward for season 2.

Michael C. Hall plays the title role as ‘Dexter’, Jennifer Carpenter is Dexter’s sister, Detective Debra Morgan, (who is also Michael Hall’s real life wife). Julie Benz plays Dexter’s girlfriend Rita Bennett, and James Remar as Dexter’s deceased father Harry.
I am still catching up with Dexter, the forensic expert in blood patterns who works with the Miami Police Department, who at the same time a serial killer, who kills people that the police can’t bring to justice. Concept of the series is good considering that this is an original idea that the time of conception.
From Episode 1 – Dexter, we got acquainted with Dexter, who he was, the people around him, his sister, girlfriend and co-workers. We also got to know Dexter’s season 1 main story plot, The Ice Truck killer. This dude makes Dexter really interested. First of all, the killer knows who Dexter really is and the style of his killings intriguing Dexter.

Dexter learned of that the Trinity Killer may be taking his act on the road when the homicidal maniac plans an out-of-town trip. Dexter decides to accompany him,to gather more insight into the mind of the murderer, but isn’t really ready for some of the shocking revelations of which he becomes privy. Back in Miami, a technicality is keeping Debra off the Trinity case, but she utilizes others in the department to get her opinions registered.
…fake a lot of human interactions, but I feel like I fake them all… that’s me talking and not just Dexter. I just finished watching the pilot episode of Dexter, that is, Season 1 Episode 1. I will be catching up with this TV series in the days to come.
