Excellent news for all Fringe Fans! Fringe Gets Renewed for Season 3! I am currently watching the first season of X Files Fringe and I have been putting if off for a while now… I just can’t seem to find the proper motivation to watch it.. Or maybe I’m just caught up with Chuck season 2.

The show hasn’t exactly killed it in the ratings department since moving to Thursday nights this season, but execs at Fox have always liked the show and decided that, despite the middling numbers, it was worth bringing back for another year.

And the Fringe marathon has begun.. Watched the first few episodes of Fringe season 1 last night with the wife and she liked it. She doesn’t usually like the shows that I watched (Dexter, she hates blood.. Chuck, bored in the spy game). WE both love True Blood though.

For the pilot episode of Fringe, we got introduced to the main characters of the show – Olivia Dunham, Peter Bishop and Dr. Walter Bishop. Among the three, I am only familiar with Joshua Jackson because I was a big fan of Dawson’s Creek.

While the bizarre case takes center stage, Walter (John Noble), Peter (Joshua Jackson) and Astrid (Jasika Nicole) hit the lab to analyze unusual evidence and deal with Walter’s insatiable appetite for milkshakes. A peculiar abduction occurs in Boston, leading the Fringe team to uncover details of the mysterious man known as The Observer.
