In Front of the TV… Always

I did a quick view of the most recent Heroes episode, that is “The Wall” Heroes Episode 18. I did a quick scene by scene account and pick some of the quotes from that episode. Everybody saw and watched it and so did I.. and here’s what I saw.

First scene opens with Peter and Sylar.. Last episode of Heroes, Art of Deception ended with Peter going over Sylar mind. He tried to persuade Sylar to go with her but he didn’t want to. Eventually Sylar allowed Peter to touch him to bring him back to the real world but Peter failed… “we’re trap here forever”

The scene then changed and we saw Claire and Samuel talking about Noah and the incident from the night before. Claire demanded to see her father and wants to leave.

Watched Heroes Episode 17 last Monday night? “The Art of Deception” is the episode title for Heroes S04E17 and that is definitely an appropriate episode title..

I love this episode way more than the last Heroes episode. Although there are not much thrilling scenes in this episode, Heroes ‘deception’ somehow unfolds more things that the viewer (at least for me) will be waiting for in future episodes.

… and I thought that Heroes was back in its track when they aired Episode 15 – Close to You, the the episodes where Nathan died or the Brother’s Keepers episode. That episode brought back some important ingredients of the show’s success during the first two season. But last Monday’s episode almost made me yawn. Good thing there are entertaining commercial breaks.

Although there are scenes with (the all-new shinny) Sylar and Claire, the big part of the episode is about Samuel and Vanessa’s love story or lack thereof. The one exciting thing that happened in this episode is when Samuel got really mad when he was dumped by his long time love who did not return his affection. For a minute there, Samuel scared me and the thing that he did in the town? Horrific! Reminded of the the magnitude 7 earthquake not so long ago in Haiti.

The continuation of Heroes Season 4 started last night in NBC! Since we are in the other part of the world from where NBC (and the rest of the best TV stations are), I settle myself for a torrent copy of the episode. And speaking of which, I am glad that I am not the only one.. I read from the Top 10 most pirated TV series, many are downloading their own copy of Heroes Episodes.

The whole episode basically is centered on Claire’s stayed in the Carnival and Hiro running all ‘crazy’ in Tokyo where he finally meet with Ando. Plus, Samuel and Emma also meet in this episode. He asked her if he can help him find a man that has lost his way, that this man is afraid and just disappeared. This man apparently can make grass and flowers grow.

Anyway, Heroes season 4 episode 14 is called Upon This Rock. The episode continues from where they last left on. Claire stayed with the carnival folks for a couple of days to see if she really belongs there and to know if she fits in. Claire spots Samuel rifling through Noah’s old Primatech files, and Samuel doesn’t explain why. However, he reminds Claire that she is supposed to help him look for a homeland for them, a place for them to finally belong. He tells her that she has the choice of staying or leaving, but later tells Eli to make sure Claire stays at the carnival.

I can’t make myself write anything about the latest Heroes episode that I just watched – Brothers’ Keepers. Why? Because I just found out that Heroes, one of my favorite TV series since Perfect Strangers, is in the bubble and might get the axe soon.. Sad.

Anyway, Heroes Episode 10 Brother’s Keepers is a fairly good episode featuring the relationships of brothers – Nathan and Peter, plus Samuel and Joseph.

Recap: ‘Heroes‘ – ‘Once Upon a Time in Texas’.. well this is not exactly a recap but putting out some thoughts about the episode… and for those who haven’t seen this episode of Heroes yet, major spoilers.

From the Episode title alone, we know that it’s all about our favorite Hero, Hiro. Hiro, coming from the hospital, unexpectedly time traveled back to Texas, the time when he and Ando are looking for the cheerleader (to save the world and all that season 1 stuff).

“Strange Attractors“, the last episode of Heroes, Episode 6 is not that good episode, except that Matt and Sylar switched places. Also, I love the part that Samuel collapse the whole police department because they killed young Jeremy.

Heroes Season 4 Episode 7 “Once Upon A Time In Texas” is about Hiro going back in time to save Charlie. I like Hiro. Let’s hope that this episode is better than the previous one.

Heroes Season 4 Episode 7 “Strange Attractors“. The episode continues the story of Mr. Bennett and Jeremy. Tracey is also in this episode. The battle between Sylar and Matt continues. Clair and some other sorority wanna-be members also has part on this episode. As a matter of fact “Strange Attractors” was mentioned by Claire’s girlfriend while they are looking for the teddy bear.

So it is true! I read somewhere that the fourth season of Heroes is good (compared to the last few seasons). And it’s probably true that the slowly declining fans of Heroes will start to climb up again as the show will be much more exciting with season 1-like style.

I just saw the season premiere of Heroes and I must say that it’s ok. The same old characters are there plus the Carnival more of characters.
