2012 is a star studded cast including John Cussack and John Glover to name a few (well, actually those are ones I knew from other movies).

2012 is a 2009 science fiction disaster film based loosely on the 2012 phenomenon and directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film was distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver. The film is set in a modern setting and only brushes on Mayanism and the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar.

I am telling you, if available, I’ll get myself a blueray copy of this movie! Check out the movie plot in wikipedia and get an idea of what the story is all about. But I tell you know, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, go out and check it out! The effects are so realistic you’ll feel that it is really the end of the world!

Our original plan was to watch The Final Destination, but apparently 1 year old babies are not allowed in an R-13 movie.

How was the movie? It was great. (What no exclamation mark).. it’s higher level that ok, but not great great. The effects and the actions are good.

I was able to post about Pretty girl Rachel Nichols, but didn’t realize that Sienna Miller (Anna/Barones) is also hot! Will post about her later!

G.I. Joe brought some flashbacks when I was a little boy. Although I forgot the Joe’s names, it returned instantly when I saw Duke and Snake eyes… even remembered Shipwreck and other joes…

Lately, looks like there are tons of people searching for this particular movie? Why is that? It’s been a while since I saw a movie myself, but with this buzz about it, Looks like I am going to watch Win A Date with Tad Hamilton, just to find out what’s this commmotion is about.

A small-town girl wins a date with a male celebrity through a contest. When the date goes better than expected, a love triangle forms between the girl, the male celebrity, and the girl’s best friend.

The movie was released on VHS and DVD on April 20, 2004. The DVD featured 15 deleted scenes and a revised box art, which made Tad look more sinister.

The name of “Tad Hamilton” has been seen as a cross between the names of screen idols Tab Hunter and George Hamilton.

Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! opened with a low 9 million at the box-office. It finished its run with a 17 million in the U.S. and 5 million overseas bringing the total to 23 million. considering that its budget was 21 million excluding advertisement.

After two weeks hiatus of Smallville, every fan was so eager to see the next episode Smallville. As the day of the airing date come to a close, the excitement are building up that ever fan, including myself really can’t wait for it.. Not to mention that the new episode (Infamous) will be about Clark Kent going public with his powers and announcing that he is the “red and blue blur”.

I am only speaking for myself when I say that Smallville’s Infamous is quite a disappointment. Sure, he really did go public because Clark thought that’s the best think he could do considering that Linda Lake is threatening to expose his secret powers if Clark didn’t work with her, that is give her each exclusive of every saving that he do.

I’m probably disappointed because I kind of expecting something more with the ‘infamous’ episode… and the way he ‘saved’ his identity by going back in time? I think that was done more than once before… I really don’t think everyone will buy that one again… at least I didn’t.

But I love the part when Clark told Lois that he is the red and blue blur and Lois didn’t believed him.. A smile formed in the tip of my lips when I saw Lois’ reaction of Clark confessions… “That’s the best you can do, Smallville?”.

But then, Clark carried the steal table effortlessly with Lois is still on it… “I guess I have to stop calling you smallville”.

I was probably expecting that Clark would kiss LOis to forget his secret… just like in Superman 2 and 4.. but I guess that’s for the movies huh?

Both these movies I have seen before.. I just wanted to see it again because there are some missing gap (for Wanted) and for Flight Plan… I just didn’t understand it… coz pirated DVD has no ending, wtf! I didn’t know that the antagonist was the … don’t want to spoil it.

Wanted on the hand was still amazing even though it’s my second time to watch it (not online)… I love Angelina Jolie… I love the action.. and the curving bullet. I hate the part when his father died.. “You are my son” part really got me.

And, yeah, the story is clear now…

Here’s the plot of the movie:

Viktor, the ruthless king of the vampires, has captured werewolves and turned them into slaves that would toil for him and guard his vampire clan during the day. These lycans are less volatile than the original breed, which cannot revert back to human form. The first of these Lycans was Lucian, whom Viktor spared after killing his werewolf mother. As Lucian grows up at Viktor’s home, he and Viktor’s daughter Sonja are attracted to one another and secretly become lovers.

Viktor also has an agreement with the human population, which he protects from the wild werewolves in exchange for a tithe in silver and slaves (chosen to be turned into Lycans). As a human nobles and vampires meet guarded by Sonja, they are attacked by wild werewolves who kill the humans. Lucian, who has followed Sonja, chases off the attackers but is shot down by Viktor’s men as by taking off his collar and changing into lycan form he has transgressed the laws of the coven. Viktor has Lucian whipped and imprisons him, later deciding to kill him. With the help of Sonja and Viktor’s duplicitous attendant Tannis, Lucian however escapes, kills several vampires and begins to free the other lycans.

Viktor discovers the relationship between Sonja and Lucian and uses his daughter as bait to draw Lucian back to the vampire castle. Setting out to rescue her, Lucian is captured by the Death Dealers. Sonja opposes her father and discloses that she is pregnant with Lucian’s child. Viktor overpowers her with a knife and the vampire vouncil – including an internally struggling Viktor – sentence her to death. She is exposed to sunlight, while Lucian is forced to witness her death. When night falls, Lucian overpowers Viktor and as his escape attempt is stopped at the castle walls, Lucian summons the freed lycans and the wild werewolves, who attack the coven and overwhelm it after a fierce battle, killing all the defending vampires. Lucian and Viktor battle their way to the dungeons until Lucian knocks Viktor down a well. Sunlight traps Viktor in the darkness and Lucian forces his sword through Viktor’s mouth. Lucian declares this victory as only the beginning of the war between the vampires and Lycans.

Tannis, whom Viktor had charged with safeguarding the elders, sails away with them in a boat. Viktor is also on board, entering into a hibernation chamber.

The film’s opening and closing scenes show Selene as seen in the opening scene of the first Underworld, with the audio revealing that it was Viktor who murdered Selene’s family rather than the Lycans and that she was spared because she resembled Sonja.

Anyway, we saw this movie officially on the “big screen” yesterday noon.. here’s what the story is about:

As the film opens, the narrator (Pat Hingle) explains that there is a drought occurring. To escape it the dinosaurs are migrating in search of the “Great Valley”, a lush, Utopian paradise. A “Longneck” (Apatosaurus) herd gives birth to a single baby, named Littlefoot (Gabriel Damon). As he grows older, his mother (Helen Shaver) tells him of the Great Valley, and informs him of the prejudice between the different dinosaur species when he tries to play with a “Threehorn” (Triceratops) girl named Cera (Candace Hutson), but her father (Burke Byrnes) stops him. That night, Cera and Littlefoot meet again, and play together for a while until a “Sharptooth” (Tyrannosaurus) attacks. Littlefoot’s mother intervenes, battling with the Sharptooth and suffering severe injuries, but managing to defeat him. At the same time, an “earthshake” (earthquake) occurs, opening a deep ravine in the ground, which swallows up the Sharptooth and a great deal of other dinosaurs, and separates many herds, including Littlefoot’s and Cera’s. Littlefoot finds his mother when the earthquake ends, but she is mortally wounded, and dies shortly after reminding her son how to reach the Great Valley.

Feeling depressed and confused, Littlefoot accidentally slides down a ravine, where he meets an old armored dinosaur named Rooter (Pat Hingle), who consoles him upon learning of his mother’s death. After mourning for some time, Littlefoot begins to search for the Great Valley, and tries to get Cera to join him, but she refuses. He later meets a cheerful baby “Bigmouth” (Parasaurolophus) named Ducky (Judith Barsi), who asks to join him. As they travel, and try to find food along the way, they encounter an aerophobic baby “Flyer” (Pteranodon) named Petrie (Will Ryan), who joins them on their quest. Meanwhile, Cera encounters a comatose Sharptooth, whom she believes to be dead, and charges at mischievously, though this accidentally awakens him. As she flees, she meets up with the others and tries to warn them about the Sharptooth; Littlefoot does not believe her, as he is convinced that Sharptooth is dead. As Cera describes the encounter (exaggerating her bravery) she accidentally flings Ducky into a patch of grass, next to a hatching egg containing a baby “Spiketail” (Stegasaurus). Ducky names him Spike and brings him into their band.

Seeking the Great Valley, they find a river leading to a cluster of trees, which is rapidly depleted by a herd of starving sauropods. Searching for remaining growth, they discover a single leaf-bearing tree, and obtain food by piling atop each other to reach it and pull it down. Cera remains aloof and arrogant, boasting that she is independent, but at nightfall, she, along with the others, gravitates to Littlefoot’s sleeping nest for warmth and companionship. The Sharptooth attacks them in the morning, but they escape through a cave-tunnel too small to admit him, and discover a Longneck-shaped monolith mentioned by Littlefoot’s mother. As they pass other landmarks she mentioned, such as a string of volcanoes, Cera grows impatient as the search begins to yield no results and quarrels with Littlefoot, causing a schism in the little herd. Littlefoot continues in the direction he was told, while the others try to find another route. As Ducky, Spike and Petrie fall into danger involving a lava barrier and a tar pit, Littlefoot comes and rescues them. They then save Cera from an aggressive herd of Pachycephalosaurus while disguised as a giant tar-monster, which frightens Cera. Angry and humiliated, Cera leaves the group.

The next day, the others are frolicking in a pond when the Sharptooth appears nearby. Determined to defeat him, Littlefoot formulates a plan to lure him to the deep end of the pond, drop a large rock from the edge of a nearby cliff onto his head, and thus drown him. As Ducky lures him to the water, Littlefoot and Spike have trouble moving the rock. During the proceeding struggle, a hot draft from Sharptooth’s nostrils enables Petrie to master his powers of flight. At that moment, Cera shows up and helps the plan to be completed; defeating Sharptooth for good. Littlefoot then follows his mother’s spirit (which appears in cloud form) to the Great Valley, where the children’s surviving relatives are already settled. Petrie and Ducky rejoin their families, and Ducky’s family adopts Spike. Cera reunites with her father, and Littlefoot joins his grandparents. The film concludes with an indication of the protagonists’ companionship
