I just finished my season 1 marathon of House and here’s what I have to say… my reactions. I know you don’t case sh*t about it, but what can you do? It’s my blog.. … oh yeah, you can close this and go away, but please don’t… I love talking to you, my imaginary audience.

Anyway, before I start, I am grateful to people who already wrote House Season 1 Summary.. People who have nothing important things to do but count House’s episodes, the patients diagnosed and how many died during the season.. like this guy here.

Start Building the House

I started watching House MD, the latest season (5), a few weeks ago. Right before the season ended although I do know about the show since season 3 I just didn’t listed to my ‘boss’ that House MD really is a good series. So, anyway, I was blogging about streaming TV online and House was one of the top rated TV series, so I have to blog about it… It’s all about the dough people.

By the time the season 5 finale came, I was so intrigue with the characters (House, of course included) that I wanted to know them all more. Their backgrounds and stories and all.. that’s why I decided to catch up and do the marathon while the whole TV land is in hiatus.

Gregory House and the Team

As I said before, I started watching House in the last part of season 5… So when I started watching season 1, I know that Dr. Cameron and Dr. Chase will be married someday… ahh spoiled! Anyway, this season I found out who were the original House Team, I found out why Dr. House limps (yeah, both the episode in the beginning of the season and the season finale told the story of that).

Also in season 1 I found out that Dr. Foreman is street smart.. hence they always ‘break in’ in patient’s home to find ‘evidence’ of their illness. I also found out quite a few things about the sweet Dr. Cameron. We found out that she was amrried and that her husband died (and she knew about it but she married him anyway…. and yeah, don’t forget the sperm in season 5). In this season also, where the ‘history’ of Dr. Cameron and Dr. House started… Dr. House is such a charming fellow isn’t he.

Now there’s Dr. Wilson.. who I thought at first was Dr. House conflict, an antagonist but it turns out he is the only friend that Dr. House have.. or at least who knew his inner workings. Oh, yeah, the bad guy is that big black guy, Volger..

What else happened during season 1? alright, that nothing-important-thing-to-do fan’s time to shine…

The patient in Wilson’s Heart died because her body was too damaged to survive, and the patient in 97 Seconds died because competition between the fellowship contestants interfered with his care.

House: 16 diagnoses + 33 credits – 1 error = 48 total
Kutner: 4 diagnoses + 10 credites – 1 error = 13 total
Thirteen: 2 diagnoses + 11 credits – 1 error = 12 total
Foreman: 1 diagnosis + 11 credits – 1 error = 11 total
Taub: 3 diagnoses + 6 credits = 9 total
Chase: 2 diagnoses + 3 credits = 5 total
Cameron: 2 credits – 1 error = 1 total

There you go! Our own House MD Season 1 Summary… did i get it right?
