I read somewhere that LOST’s Episode 9, Namaste is the real first episode of season 5.. All the rest are just an intermissions.. and introduction if you will… Namaste (told you it’s a Japanese name *grin*), is the first episode where all of the cast away are in one place.
Will blog about this tomorrow… Going to sleep, it’s 10pm and that’s late for me.
Ok, let’s start again.. The thing that you like about lost is how the show exercises your mind by making it think of what’s going to happen next and the twist and plot of the story/season.
One of the questions that this week’s episode left on my head is what Christian said to Frank and Jin, ” “I’m sorry, but you have a bit of a journey ahead of you.”
What’s that suppose to mean? Will they be travelling back in 1977? Or will they be going back to home to the city? I’m not sure.
For the ‘love square’, I wonder that those four are thinking about their ‘ex-lovers’? Like when Jack knocked on Sawyer’s house to be greeted by Julie… I love that scene. Also the scene where Jack sees Sawyer sitting comfortable in a chair reading/thinking… “Hey, Doc!”, he said.
I also liked the scene where Jin rushed to the jungle to check the hostile hoping that those who tripped the alarm is Sun… but it turns out it was Sayid…
Finally, Where is Daniel Faraday? Sawyer said the he “used to be” there…
In a nutshell, they all have to lie some more to keep Jack and company safe and so that the characters (and lives) that Sawyer and the gang built was not jeoperdized.
Over all, the episode is great.. I am no longer sure which is better, LaFleur or Namaste.
